It couldn't be the race

Mitch Albom states in his blog that O'Brien points out LeBrons race could have an affect on his popularity. I agree with this, because he is an African-American when theres nothing else to explain the reason, they fall back on race. Though the way he made his "decision" made him seem as though he had a big ego, he did give the money to charity. He could have just told reporters his decision and leave it at that, but thats in the past. Albom makes an important point when he says LeBron should have just come out and told his decision without making an entire broadcast in front of the entire world. In doing this his popularity has greatly decreased by not only the whites but blacks as well.
